Some points would have to be deferred until next meeting due to the absence of a number of people.
2.
Project Funding update & consequential issues.
As usual, Richard Stubbs explained the distributed hand out.
2.1 The cash crisis is likely to end very soon as payment is expected from the College.
2.2 A meeting on 24th May will determine if the C& D cancelled fund will be transferred to H2H Ltd./H2H.
2.3 Zahida reported that many appointments cancellation meant that the Street League videos filming are yet to take off.
2.4 Additional funds likely as some other things are being proposed to be included e.g. football.
2.5 According to Zahida the project with Trinity Chapel is going on very well. The first two sessions were full and there would be 8 sessions making up the 30hrs. Loads of teenagers are interested and word of mouth is used to advertise the project.
2.6 . Richard Overton said that the problem with Regen TV has been solved so the project would likely be completed on schedule.
2.7 A general discussion and suggestions followed on ways to get money to keep the project afloat. This would be an on going discussion until a solution is found.
3.
H2H – Project and company.
3.1 Richard Overton reported everything is going on according to plan. The project output for the ERDF should be ready by the end of June and so also is the work with Trinity Chapel.
3.2 H2H is making some films for the Masterplan and there would be 9 films by the end of June.
3.3 Films from Union Wharf would also go into the system here and by the end of June there should be about 15 new films ready for the system.
3.4 There are some problems with Carpenters Connect Internet system. RO promised to have a look at it.
3.5 Warning lights are showing on some servers but since some servers would be shut down, there is no problem about this.
3.6 Microsoft licence expires in October so we have to start thinking of what to do.
3.7 Clusters licence has also expired.
3.8 RO would like to complete all these jobs before he goes off on holiday.
3.9 Once RegenTV takes off on Union Wharf, there would be less pressure and would be able to move back on Carpenters.
The launch would take place on 7th June. The Demo would be brought down and look at before the day so that it could be hitch free.
The group noted with pleasure the Housemark award to Carpenters TMO for the H2H project.
The meeting was rounded up at 4.00pm.
