Richard Stubbs talked us through the circulated report.

2.1 There is a query about VAT after which the full transfer of SRB grant to the TMO should then hopefully take place.

3, Establishing Home2Home as a community enterprise

3.1 Rick Smith interviewed a number of people and has drawn up a checklist of all the things expected. Will likely send out papers in the next few weeks. People that have been pencilled down to be on   the Board include: Mick Aldridge, Simon Gallimore and Lorraine Cavanagh. Will be able to meet the deadline and will circulate the information before the next meeting. – Rick Smith to give feedback.

4.Recruitment

4.1 Rick Smith welcomed Carmen who is settling down very nicely and learning the ropes.

4.2 Still looking for the managerial position. Got an experienced person who is willing to see to the production side but not the managerial side.

A few names where discussed and it was agreed that

v    Nicola and Rick will look at the various options.

v    Richard will contact Chris Haydon of Community TV Trust

v    An advert will be placed immediately within the Estate.

5. Current H2H/Carpenters Connect service issues

Richard Overton reported that:

5.1           CC had to be shut down for an upgrade but is now  working.

5.2            Problems with running RegenTV and Carpenters connect side by side seems “they driving each other mad” but loads of technicians working on it to sort it out.

5.3            Will be working on the system to remove some things then eventually merge the two.

5.4            Current system is more stable than the old one which would be kept as backup/spares.

5.5            Clusters going to work with RO on Games and once sorted, will install it on RegenTV first.

5.6            No decision made on the free set top boxes because of storage most likely a decision would be made by January.

5B Nicola reported that she is working with Carmen on H2H being a Community Enterprise. George is also editing some films for the system.

    6. Estate Party

Richard Overton reported that it looks like the bash will now take place in January and will be called “Carpenters Connect Estate Party” and will use the opportunity to also promote the impact, invite our neighbours and also let residents know what is happening.

7. Extension of Carpenters Connect/Regen TV systems

7.1

Aniekan said that she would try to get Christie Sanford to talk to the residents in the Tower blocks on Abbey Lane about extending the service to them. Unfortunately the service can only be extended if there is an interest shown by the residents. It was then agreed that an Open Day would be used to introduce the project. Linda, Nicola and their team would look into it and get a draft ready for the next meeting. – Linda/Nicola to give a feed back.

7.2

With RegenTV, John reported that there are some Technical issues that are being solved. Work is also going on with the Alpha testing/Beta testing and hopefully by the end of June the whole project should be running.

8. Next Meeting

Next meeting will be on Monday 20th Dec at 1pm.

Lorraine would be away during that time so won’t be at the meeting.

9.AOB

Rick said he showed the video at a conference in Scotland, which went very well.

There would be a regular update on RegenTV.

The meeting was rounded up at4.06pm.
